Common questions
How much risk should I take with my investments?
The right level of risk depends on your goals, your timescale and how comfortable you are with the value of your money going up and down. I take time to understand all three before recommending anything, so your investments match your situation rather than a one-size-fits-all model. The value of investments can fall as well as rise and you may get back less than you invest.
What is the difference between a Stocks & Shares ISA and a Cash ISA?
A Cash ISA holds savings that earn interest with no risk to your capital, while a Stocks & Shares ISA invests in the market for potential growth over the longer term, with the risk that its value can fall as well as rise. Which suits you depends on your timescale and goals, and many people use a mix.
Do I need a large lump sum to start investing?
No. You can invest regularly each month, with a lump sum, or a combination of the two. I help you start at a level that fits your budget and build from there.
