Common questions

What is the difference between life insurance and income protection?

Life insurance pays out if you die, giving your family a lump sum or income; income protection pays you a regular income if illness or injury stops you working. Many households need a mix, and I help you work out which risks matter most for you.

How much life cover do I actually need?

It depends on what you would want the cover to do, such as clearing a mortgage, replacing income or providing for children. I look at what would happen financially in different scenarios and recommend cover that is appropriate and affordable, rather than more than you need.

Is protection expensive?

It is often more affordable than people expect, especially when arranged earlier in life. I research the market to find cover suited to your needs and budget, and explain exactly what a policy does and does not cover.
